Change one answer and the seal breaks.
Every KOOS-JR or HOOS-JR outcome captured on SurgeonValue comes back as a receipt with a SHA-256 hash over what the patient answered and who signed it. Paste one here and this page recomputes the hash on your device. If a single answer, the score or the signer changed after sealing, it will not match.
What a match does and does not prove
A match proves the answers, the score and the signer's name are exactly what was sealed. It does not prove who sealed it: anyone can make a new receipt with its own fresh hash. The issue time sits outside the seal in this demonstration. Binding the seal to the surgeon's own key, and the time to it, is the next step, and this page will say so when it ships.
Why it matters: the hip and knee PRO-PM asks for KOOS JR or HOOS JR before surgery and about a year after, at a response rate CMS counts. A record the surgeon signed, and anyone can check, is harder to dispute than a spreadsheet. Read what CMS requires.
